Hitting the Books with a Brand New Look: Back-to-School Hair Makeovers!

With the first day of school right around the corner, we knew that it was time for our 2nd Annual Back-to-School “Hair Makeover!” This year we invited the CW Star, Annie, to The Charles Penzone Grand Salon in Dublin to watch as our four lucky winners received a brand new hairstyle for a brand new year at school.

Sixteen year old Kiersha knew exactly what she wanted when walking into The Charles Penzone Salons. Vivica, Director, worked her magic and gave Kiersha a cute new bob and bangs, complete with red highlights!

Kelly, 12, is an avid swimmer found herself battling chlorine damage after being in the pool this summer. Parker, stylist, framed Kelly’s face with subtle highlights and gave her a brand new cut to start off the year – only after providing her with a deep-conditioning treatment to make sure her hair was in tip-top shape!

Eleven year old Emma wanted to look just like her hair professional Danica, Designer, when she started school this year. With new highlights to brighten up her face and a full fringe, Emma and Danica looked like sisters!

Being a junior in high school, Kaycee knew that she wanted to keep her hair curly so she could wake up in the morning and go! Giselle, Designer, used the DevaCurl products to amp up Kaycee’s curls and gave her a bang to finish off her look.

All four girls left the salon ready to hit the books and show off their new looks on the first day of school!

Win a Back-to-School Hair Makeover

Avoid the Back-to-School blues by entering for a chance to win a Back-to-School makeover at The Charles Penzone Salons! We're partnering with the CW Columbus to celebrate the upcoming school year giving away "Hair Makeovers" to four lucky winners!

Parents, if your child is ages 8-18, click HERE to submit the online entry before 12:00PM EST on Thursday, August 5, 2010, for your chance to win a new look for your school-age child to impress all his/her friends! (If you are in school and already 18, just enter yourself!)

The prize includes: A single appointment consultation, hair cut and style and potential color service (partial highlight) with a Charles Penzone Salon Professional. Total prize is valued up to $126.50.

Parents of winners will be notified on Thursday, August 5, 2010, before 5:30PM by phone and/or email.

Winners and parents must be available to go to The Charles Penzone Grand Salon in Dublin on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at a specified time to receive their Back-to-School Hair Makeover and meet CW Star, Annie!

Female Focus Summer Makeovers at The Grand Salon in Gahanna/New Albany

On Thursday, July 15th, we welcomed two lovely ladies to The Grand Salon in Gahanna/New Albany for a Summer Sparkler makeover!

Crystal Traini, mother of two and graduate school student, received a modernized new look to help her get our of her "20 year style rut." Meredith, Director, took Crystal's color to a brilliant red and provided her with a modern, slightly asymetrical style. Alyssa's makeup lesson and application provided Crystal with a fantastic palette of complimentary colors and makeup tips relevant for her lifestyle.

With the help of our Charles Penzone Team, Martha Grodesky received a new look to help jump-start her new career as a business owner. Martha, mother of three and former corporate employee, was looking for a new look to get her confidence in her new career. Stella, Designer, shortened the length of Martha's hair and added in highlights to compliment her face. Allie, Master Esthetician, showed Martha how to apply her makeup for every day.

We were pleased to meet these fantastic local women and wish them the best in their next steps - in their careers and in their lives!

Lisa Receives a Valentine's Day Spa Day

Lisa enjoyed an entire day at the Charles Penzone Grand Salon in Dublin last week and has her son, Drew, to thank for it! Drew nominated his mother, Lisa, to receive a Valentine's Day Spa Day through a contest sponsored by the Charles Penzone Salons and 10tv's Female Focus program!

In his nomination, Drew expressed how thankful he was for his mother's support over the years. Even more, Drew was so happy that his mom recently found love and recently got married! He thought a Spa Day at Charles Penzone would be the perfect wedding gift, and Lisa confirmed that it truly was!
